As previously announced, the rather average
Cel Damage will try to get a second chance in a few weeks with an HD adaptation coming to Sony's three consoles. Here is a first trailer, noting that the game retains its four-player split-screen mode.

Independent developer
Finish Line Games announced today that
Cel Damage HD, its cartoon-style vehicular combat game, will be taking a spin on
PlayStation 3,
PlayStation 4 and
PS Vita, exclusively as a digital release on the PlayStation Store.
As you may have guessed, the game will support
Cross-Buy, so owners of multiple consoles only have to pay once. Fans of the genre will no doubt have understood that this is none other than an HD version of the well-known Cel Damage, inviting us to engage in fierce battles behind the wheel of our vehicles in a zany cartoon universe.

In terms of content, Cel Damage HD will ultimately offer ten playable characters (rather than the six initially announced) and just as many wacky vehicles, 13 arenas/tracks and three main game modes: Smack Attack (deathmatch), Flag Rally (capture the flag) and Gate Relay (a classic race). Multiplayer is also mentioned, with up to four players, although only a split-screen mode has been discussed so far.

The game will offer three game modes as well as local multiplayer for up to four participants. To battle it out, the game will make 12 interactive settings available to us. official website or its
Facebook page.
