Umbrella details its customization options

Umbrella Corps takes players to battlefields populated by Zombies and Ganados. It is therefore crucial for players to gear up properly if they hope to take down their enemies, whether human or otherwise! Today, Capcom is revealing more details about the in-game customization options: weapons, armor and emotes—Umbrella Corps offers extensive customization. Umbrella Corps is a competitive third-person shooter set in the Resident Evil universe.
Game modes such as One-Life Match and Multi-Mission put players into 3v3 matches where reflexes and precision are paramount. Packed with thrills, Umbrella Corps' multiplayer gives plenty of room to zombies, infected dogs and other bio-organic threats that are constantly overwhelming players. Unlocking equipment is very simple!

Players will earn points by winning matches or eliminating the zombies found on certain maps. With these points, players can unlock a wide variety of equipment—masks, helmets, shoulder pads, body armor and accessories for the zombie jammer—as well as customize the look of their backpacks.
They can also change the appearance of their armor with patterns such as the B.S.A.A. emblem, the Spencer family emblem or the Umbrella logo. By accumulating enough points, players can also unlock and upgrade weapons. For example, the Doberman Pincer is an extremely powerful shotgun, particularly effective in close combat. The K-12 AX is an SMG offering an interesting balance between range and rate of fire.

The Samurai Edge is a legendary handgun from the Resident Evil series—a pistol designed by Kendo's Gun Shop in Resident Evil 2. All weapons can be modified with a wide range of sights for greater accuracy or with silencers to keep your position hidden from opponents.
Players can also customize their emotes using a system called I.C.O.N. (Interconnected Communications Operations Network). These interchangeable emotes allow players to communicate quickly without speaking through their headsets. For example, they can easily greet a newcomer or imitate an animal noise, depending on their needs.

Umbrella Corps

Umbrella Corps will be released digitally on PC and PlayStation 4 for €29.99. Originally expected to launch in May, Umbrella Corps will ultimately be available on June 21, giving the development team a little more time to optimize the game and deliver the best possible experience.
