Since the launch of the Skylanders franchise, children around the world have sent Toys For Bob, the creators of the toys-to-life category, their drawings of Skylanders with a single request: please bring my Skylander to life! In October, Activision Publishing, Inc., a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., will make that wish come true! For the first time, Skylanders Imaginators will give Portal Masters the opportunity to use their imagination to freely create their own Skylanders. "Since we launched the very first Skylanders game, we have received countless letters and drawings from children around the world sharing their vision of their own Skylanders. No matter how creative we are or how much of a child at heart we remain as adults, nothing comes close to the infinite creativity that comes from the mind of an inspired child." explains Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, Inc. "This year's game was designed as a true blank canvas, allowing children to unleash their imagination, create and play with their own Skylanders."

Skylanders Imaginators offers players enormous possibilities for customizing their characters' appearance, powers, abilities, name, catchphrase, theme music and much more, allowing them to create the wildest Skylanders! The incredible scope of the creation system makes it possible to create billions of different characters. With the Super Villain Kaos embarking on a new quest to take back the Skylands, Portal Masters around the world must create their own Skylanders, known as Imaginators, using the new toy called the Creation Crystal, based on the game's various elements. Creation Crystals also allow players to carry their Imaginators with them and play with them on every console, at any time. Skylanders Imaginators also introduces brand-new heroes, the Skylanders Senseis: each one belongs to one of 10 powerful combat classes, such as Knight, Sorcerer, Archer and many more. The Skylanders Senseis will train the Imaginators, granting them several advantages, such as unlocking super-cool Imaginator weapons, providing access to special areas of the game and giving them secret techniques linked to their combat classes. The Senseis also have unique advantages, including the extraordinary ability to unleash their Sky-Chi—a devastatingly powerful special attack. There are 31 Senseis in total, including fan-favorite Villains who have joined Master Eon's side and now fight to defend the Skylands! "Skylanders continually offers an innovative gaming experience. As of today, fans can pre-order the Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack, which includes two new characters, a Creation Crystal, the Portal of Power and the full game. Skylanders Imaginators will be available on Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, as well as the Nintendo Wii U. Developed by Toys for Bob, Skylanders Imaginators is compatible with more than 300 figures from previous games. The game will be available in France starting October 14.
