Release of "Banned Footage Vol. 1"
PS4 [ Capcom ]
PlayStation 4 players can extend their Resident Evil 7 - Biohazard adventure starting today with the additional content packs
"Banned Footage Vol. 1" has been available for €9.99 on the PlayStation Store since January 31, 2017, and is also accessible to owners of the "Deluxe Edition" or the "Season Pass". This DLC contains the "Nightmare" episode, in which Clancy, the cameraman from the reporters discovered on one of the game's videotapes, must craft weapons and ammunition to fight hordes of enemies and survive until dawn. In the "Bedroom" episode, the same Clancy must escape from a room locked by the dangerous Marguerite, who is prowling nearby. In addition to these two missions, players can discover "Ethan Must Die", an extremely difficult new game mode with almost infinite replayability. (Please note that PlayStation VR is not supported in the "Ethan Must Die" mode.)
"Banned Footage Vol. 2" will be available for PlayStation 4 owners starting February 14, 2017, for €14.99. In this pack, players will face Lucas, the Baker family's son, in a deadly game of "21". They will then delve into the Baker family's past, before the tragic events of Resident Evil 7 - Biohazard, with the "Daughters" episode. An additional game mode entitled "Jack's 55th Birthday" offers a race against the clock in which players must deliver tons of treats to Jack Baker. (PlayStation VR is not supported in the "Jack's 55th Birthday" mode.)
"Banned Footage Vol. 1" and "Banned Footage Vol. 2" will be available on Xbox One and PC starting February 21.
Owners of the Deluxe Edition or the Season Pass will receive the content from "Banned Footage Vol. 1" and "Banned Footage Vol. 2" upon their respective releases, as well as a third additional episode, details of which will be announced soon.
Finally, in spring 2017, all players who own Resident Evil 7 will have access to the free "Not a Hero" content, inviting them to take part in an entirely new scenario set apart from the story of Ethan, the main game's hero.
Upon their respective releases, Resident Evil 7 - Biohazard's first two additional content packs, "Banned Footage Vol. 1" and "Banned Footage Vol. 2", will be available first on Sony's console. Each pack includes two new scenarios and an additional game mode.
