PC online [ Sandbox Interactive ]
Sandbox Interactive has announced the final stretch for the beta of its sandbox MMORPG Albion Online. This Final Beta phase, which will begin on August 1, will last between two and three months and brings a host of new features. Albion Online

New features in the Final Beta

  • The New World - This entirely new map will be divided into two parts: the Royal Islands and the Outlands. This latter continent, made up exclusively of black zones, is intended to become the preferred territory for hardcore PvP and guild battles.
  • Distinct biomes - To combat the monotony and visual uniformity of the game's environment, the developers have created five biomes: swamps, steppes, mountains, forests and highlands. Each of these ecosystems has its own resources, dangers and visual characteristics. More information about the New World and the biomes can be found here.
  • Guild-versus-Guild system overhaul - Major changes and brand-new features make these clashes more interactive while adding greater depth to the game. New features include Watchtowers and Regional Scoreboards. More information about this overhaul can be found in the official article dedicated to it.
  • Reputation system - Each player will now receive a reputation level based on their behavior. Attacking and killing other players will lower reputation, while killing monsters or gathering resources will increase it. This level can be either positive or negative, ranging from "Glorious", the most positive, to "Feared", the most negative. The lower your reputation, the more restricted your access to cities in green, yellow and red zones will become.
  • Item system overhaul - Basic materials will no longer be obtained in the same way, and artifact components can be crafted through high-level PvE. A new enchanting system is also being introduced.
Albion Online   This final beta phase still has many more surprises in store, all with the goal of making the game more interactive and closer to its players. As Beta Phase 1 draws to a close, all current progress will be wiped. The developers are currently preparing an event for the occasion, which remains shrouded in mystery and is expected to take place on July 17.
