Serious Sam VR empties its first magazines in Early Access
PC [ Devolver Digital - Croteam VR ]
Legendary studio Croteam and virtual troublemakers Devolver Digital are teaming up once again for the release today, in Early Access on Steam, of Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope. HTC Vive owners will be on the front line for this true akimbo action onslaught, while Oculus Rift players will have to wait until the Oculus Touch controllers are released before enjoying unrestricted digital cleanup. Players who purchase Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope this week will receive a 20% discount on its listed price of €36.99.
For the very first time, immersion is total in Serious Sam's fiery universe. Crossing the galaxy, meeting fascinating alien races and… blowing their heads off in virtual reality amid a hail of bullets and shredded body parts: it's a program that certainly doesn't lack momentum. A ton of missions awaits VR gunslingers across a wide range of environments, along with a varied roster of enemies and bosses even more gigantic than those Sam Stone has eradicated so far. "The bigger they come, the harder they fall".
Serious Sam VR's Early Access period is planned to last six months, but the community's involvement and considered feedback will help assess the work still to be done and, therefore, the game's final release date. Features already planned include new weapons, enemies and levels, as well as new gameplay mechanics, more difficulty modes and a player-customizable skill tree.
