Pawarumi, the Neo-Aztec Shoot'em Up Now on Greenlight

PS4, Xbox One, PC [ Manufacture 43 ]
It has now been a year since the newly created French indie studio Manufacture 43 began working on its first game. After eleven months of hard work on their shoot'em up, the developers are proud to announce the start of their Greenlight campaign for PAWARUMI!
Pawarumi

Story

In a world where Mayan civilization rules the planet with an iron fist, you play as Axo, pilot of the legendary Chukaru spacecraft. Experience his fight against the Council and its countless armies, master the power of your ship and discover Axo's true destiny.

Trinity Game System

By significantly deepening the rock-paper-scissors mechanic, Pawarumi allows players to double their damage, heal themselves or recharge their super attack simply by choosing the right weapon against one of the three enemy types. This gameplay mechanic offers endless strategies for tackling the levels—first to complete the game, and then to reach the top of the leaderboard! Pawarumi Features
  • Five Unique Levels: Each with its own gameplay features and set in different parts of the world, from Alaska to New Zealand and beyond.
  • Trinity Game Mechanic: Three mechanics that, once mastered, offer endless strategies!
  • Weapon Mastery Scoring System: An essential feature for dedicated score chasers, each run will provide further progress toward the top of the leaderboard!
  • Three Weapons: Each with unique gameplay, they draw their devastating energy from the Jaguar, Serpent and Condor gods.
  • Super Attack: Providing the player with brief but sometimes lifesaving invincibility, it combines the powers of the three basic weapons in a burst of energy that clears every enemy from the screen!
  • Original Art Direction: Created in 3D, Pawarumi's unique world blends South American folklore with 1990s pop culture to offer an outstanding and unprecedented visual experience!
  • Dynamic Music: Described as Peruvian electro-metal and composed by Grégory Desmurs, it adapts to the player's actions.

What's Next

Although they remain focused on their game, the developers at Manufacture 43 are also working on a Kickstarter campaign for Pawarumi. This campaign will be the only way to acquire physical copies of the game and the best way for fans to support the developers. Get ready to back this original shmup and receive exclusive goodies at the beginning of the year!
