The explosive action game inspired by the famous anime and manga series will be available Friday on PlayStation 4
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk combines the explosive combat style of the epic Warriors series with the dark and sinister world of Berserk. Fans of both series, as well as newcomers, will discover an exciting and thrilling adventure in which they will learn to master the powers of characters such as Guts and Griffith as they carve a path through hordes of enemies. Players familiar with the Warriors series will notice differences in each character's combat style. Guts's gigantic dragon slayer, for example, allows him to unleash devastating attacks, and players will feel the weapon's weight throughout the battles. In addition to the many main and secondary weapons at their disposal, playable characters also possess abilities that can be "awakened" to reach their full potential. Players can use Guts's Berserker Armor to unleash deadly blows, Griffith's demonic Femto form to deliver rapid attack combos, and Zodd's giant Apostle form to easily knock down his enemies. The game also features several mechanics that bring the world of Berserk to life, such as Magic and Transformations.
An endless horde of enemies awaits warriors brave enough to challenge the game's Endless Eclipse mode. In this mode, players must prove their worth by facing countless enemies in the Eclipse dimension. Separate from the main game mode, Endless Eclipse invites players to attempt various missions in order to defeat the Eclipse. Along the way, they will face increasingly powerful opponents and have to complete progressively more difficult missions. If they manage to survive, the rewards will be well worth the effort, and players will be better equipped to tackle the main game mode.
Koei Tecmo Europe is pleased to announce the release this Friday of Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, Omega Force's most brutal Warriors game to date, on February 24, 2017, for PlayStation4. Inspired by Kentarou Miura's famous Berserk anime and manga series, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk closely follows certain events depicted in the manga. It focuses in particular on the violent and heroic adventures of Guts, Casca, the Band of the Hawk and Guts's traveling party throughout their perilous battle against a kingdom of demons. A new trailer is being unveiled today to celebrate the game's highly anticipated release.
