For four years, the Ubisoft Montréal* team, which created the highly acclaimed Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, has focused on creating a new beginning for the franchise. In Assassin's Creed Origins, players will be able to explore Ancient Egypt, the most mysterious setting in history, during a pivotal period that will shape the future of the world. They will play as Bayek, protector of Egypt, driven by personal revenge, which will lead to the creation of the Brotherhood of Assassins. Players will travel through a living, systemic open world and discover the secrets behind the Great Pyramids, forgotten myths, the last pharaohs and – engraved in long-lost hieroglyphs – the original history of the Brotherhood of Assassins.
In Assassin's Creed Origins, players will discover a completely new way to fight and face multiple enemies at once, while also switching from a melee weapon to a ranged weapon in the blink of an eye. Thanks to a redesigned narrative, they will be able to select and complete quests at their own pace: each one tells an intense and emotional story, enhanced by charismatic characters and meaningful objectives. From the desert to lush oases, and from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, players will have to battle dangerous factions and wild beasts as they explore a vast and unpredictable country.
In addition, the Deluxe Edition and Gold Edition** of Assassin's Creed Origins have been announced. In the Deluxe Edition, players will receive the game, a world map featuring a hand-drawn depiction of Egypt, the official game soundtrack and the Digital Deluxe Pack, which includes the exclusive mission "Ambush at Sea," the Desert Cobra Pack and three additional abilities to enhance their character from the start. The Gold Edition includes the Digital Deluxe Pack content as well as the Season Pass, which will provide access to all future expansions and in-game content. Both editions will also be available digitally. More information is available here: store.ubi.com/assassins-creed-origins
Fans who pre-order the game will be able to access the additional mission The Secrets of the First Pyramids and discover the secrets behind the construction of the pyramids of Giza and all the mysteries they contain.
