Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Fafnir Knight will be released later this month in Japan, and a demo will be available for players in Japan starting today. Similar to the demo for the previous title, Etrian Odyssey Untold, the demo will contain the opening parts of the game's story.

The demo will let you play up to the third level of the Yggdrasil Labyrinth, but the level is capped at 10. You can also have up to 99 Grimoires, while the full version will let you carry up to 400.
Although you can only have one save file, the full version will have one save slot on the game cartridge and eight more on the SD card. And don't worry: the demo version's data will be transferable to the full game when it is released.

Similar to other Nintendo 3DS demos, Etrian Odyssey Untold II will give you up to 30 plays. As for the BGM, you will only have the new tracks in the demo, but the full version will let you switch between the FM versions and the newer ones.
Due to the demo's capacity limitations, the BGM, image, and voice data will differ in some parts of the full game. The opening cinematic will also not be included, presumably because of its limited capacity.

A few other features will not be available in the demo, such as DLC, StreetPass, QR codes, and Album mode.
Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Fafnir Knight is scheduled for release in Japan on November 27, 2014, for Nintendo 3DS.
