Update of September 28, 2026: several major September releases are now available. Information about Aniimo has notably been updated with its launch, mobile version and 1.1 update.
September 2026 was one of the busiest months of the video game year. Publishers packed in numerous releases before the arrival of GTA VI, still scheduled for November 19, 2026. From the nocturnal vampire to the legendary samurai, the survivor of Arrakis and Jesse Faden’s cursed brother, September gave players very little time to catch their breath.
To prepare for the end of the month, also check out our feature on the The Witcher 3 Remastered release date, its free upgrade and the upcoming Songs of the Past DLC.
September was also marked by Tokyo Game Show 2026, one of the month’s key video game events. We have compiled its dates, program and French schedule.
